Screenwriter, director, illustrator, and musician, he holds a degree in social communication, a postgraduate degree in computer graphics, and a master's degree in social policy. Rios is the creative director at Origem Produtora de Conteúdo, an animation studio and production company that has produced several award-winning animated series and films at major festivals dedicated to children's audiences in Brazil. In addition to several short films and animated series, he directed the feature film “Meu Tio José” (2021), screened at the 45th Mostra. His work has been presented and awarded at important animation festivals around the world, such as Annecy, Vancouver, Madrid, and Seattle. He is the leader of the first Brazilian creative center entirely dedicated to animation, in addition to coordinating scripts and art direction in other creative centers.
