"I do take a stand about how a scene should be played. I have a passion for my work, and that sometimes triggers creative conflicts." American actress, she was one of the leading and highest-paid actresses of the 90s due to her daring roles, which made her a star. Productions such as Ghost (1990), A Few Good Men (1992), Indecent Proposal (1993), and The Scarlett Letter (1995) catapulted her to worldwide fame and made her one of the most outstanding female artists of the decade. After intercalating her work between modeling and acting, her career leaped in 1982 when she participated in the soap opera General Hospital, becoming a member of the group of renowned young Hollywood actors of that time. After problems with addictions and a stint in rehab, she married fellow actor Bruce Willis. Moore continued to get important roles during the 1990s, to become after starring in the highly acclaimed Striptease (1996) the highest-paid actress equaling her male peers. At the turn of the century, Demi stopped taking leading roles to participate in supporting roles in films such as Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle (2003), Bobby (2006), and Mr. Brooks (2007).
