Clifton Craig Collins Jr.

Clifton Collins Jr. built a career defined by intense supporting roles that often redefine the narrative weight of ensemble films. He gained early recognition in independent cinema with Tigerland, where his portrayal of a troubled soldier marked his emergence as a character actor of unusual depth. His work in Capote earned critical acclaim for shaping Perry Smith with restraint and psychological precision. Collins later expanded into genre cinema with Sunshine Cleaning, Pacific Rim, and Star Trek, while maintaining a strong presence in television through projects like Westworld and The Event. His trajectory reflects a sustained focus on complex, morally ambiguous figures within mainstream and independent productions.
