Sera was born to an American father and an Australian mother in Brisbane, Australia. Her parents, Jack and Beverly, met in Australia while Jack was on R and R leave whilst in the Marines. Bev died of cancer in July 07, causing a lot of grief and pain for Sera but thus inspiring her to be even more diligent in her pursuit of her dreams and goals. Sera knew from a very early age she had found her calling in acting and spent several years studying privately with a speech and drama teacher. It was not until her twenties, however, that she really began to seriously pursue acting as a career and did several local theatre productions while in Australia. Prior to her move to Los Angeles, Sera also spent a few years in Las Vegas where she was a casino dealer for a spell. Sera has also trained in Improv at Second City and I. O. West. She has been a part of a Sundance film "Shadowman", several shorts, some theatre and independent films. Sera is residing in Australia but planning to return to Los Angeles in the future.
