"I don't like to know exactly what I'm going to do in a scene, because the most interesting moments as an audience member are moments of truthful spontaneity." Trained and influenced by the arts since childhood, Timothee Chalamet is emerging as one of the leading actors of his generation. Before film he went through stage and commercials, tried music and even sports, but after starring in "Men, Women & Children" (2014), Jason Reitman's dramatic comedy, he decided to pursue a career on the big screen. In 2017 he played Elio Perlman in "Call Me by Your Name" directed by Luca Guadagnino, and was nominated for an Oscar, BAFTA, SAG and Golden Globe Award and won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Actor at only 22 years old. To this day he has multiple and heterogeneous roles to his credit, establishing himself not only as an acting reference but also as an icon of his time with a high level of influence. With his androgynous and eclectic style, he is the face of exclusive fashion brands, his own stylist and served as one of the co-presidents of the Met Gala 2021.
