Rowan Studti

Cast · Writer

Rowan, a handsome medium-built man in his late twenties, who looks like he's straight off the farm. He's a Jason Ritter type. He is a sensitive, fun-loving compassionate man with a sharp wit and a keen sense of humor. His chiseled jaw and piercing blue eyes give him the leading man edge. But his wackiness allows him to play more supporting roles, which makes him relatable to the average man. In one sentence, he is the handsome, intelligent, doofus. He looks like a young Val Kilmer or Matt Damon, but acts like a blond Jim Carey. His depth of emotion leads him to either break down in tears or laughter; often expressed through a spontaneous physicality and sharp comedic timing. His ideal role to play is the best friend in a comedy drama who breaks down the leading lady's defenses with his charming wit and wins her over with his underlying sensitivity. In a medical Drama, he is the sensitive doctor. He's the rookie cop in a crime drama, or the young arrogant heir in a family drama, both who have something to prove. Like any good hero, he has a sense of darkness in his soul, which isolates him in his pain. This enables him to play the resentful villain in a superhero film or the anti-hero in a psychological thriller, think Matt Damon in 'Talented Mr Ripley'.
