Birth name

Taylour Dominque Paige

Taylour Paige began her artistic path as a professionally trained dancer, touring with major pop acts before transitioning into acting. She gained early visibility with television work, including a key role on Hit the Floor, where her physical discipline informed her screen presence. Her career shifted decisively with Zola, a performance grounded in precision, restraint, and control of rhythm that brought her international recognition. Paige later expanded her range through films such as Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and Sharp Stick, taking on characters shaped by social pressure and interior conflict. Her trajectory reflects a sustained movement from performance-based expression toward complex, text-driven roles in contemporary American cinema.
