"It's so amazing to hear a crowd of people singing one of your songs. It's the best feeling." Liam Payne was much more than just a pop star. As one of the former members of the British band One Direction, he had a career as a singer and songwriter that stood out for his versatility and sensibility, co-writing songs such as "Taken" or "Summer Love" and establishing himself as a key part of the group's sound for his high notes. His solo career, which began with the release of "Strip That Down" in 2017, was inspired by artists such as Justin Timberlake and Usher and was characterized by the merging of different genres, from pop to R&B. Liam made himself a name not only in the music industry, but also in the film business, featuring on the soundtrack of Fifty Shades Freed (2018) with the song "For You" alongside Rita Ora. His music tried to connect emotionally with the audience through his warm and deep voice, combining a commercial sound with a mature tone and his ability to create catchy hits. Throughout his career, Liam won numerous awards with One Direction and made an amazing and worldwide fanbase for himself. In his last years, he experienced an artistic transformation, changing his style to a more sophisticated sound and exploring themes such as love, desire, and emotional vulnerability.
