Writer · Cast

Teddi Shaffer is a coming-of-age screenwriter who came of age all around the East Coast before settling in the Natty Lite of the United States...Florida. The daughter of a Mexican Immigrant and a zany Jewish entrepreneur, Teddi's childhood was spent trying to find a way to embrace all parts of her identity. She got her start writing for reality TV, but left to work in scripted content after winning multiple screenwriting fellowships. She is now a Senior Screenwriter at ReelShort where her first vertical drama racked up 50 million views in just one week. She's also a published poet and a writer for TEDx. Now based in Los Angeles, Teddi focuses on writing diverse, female-centric coming of age stories for a Gen-z audience that use humor to address the difficulties and traumas of everyday life.
