Adem, a young man haunted by his mother's traumatic loss, avoids his father, often leaving home when he's around. One night, thinking his father is asleep, he mutters a few words, sparking a tense argument. He storms out and runs into a high school friend, Burak. After some talk, Burak offers him "medicine," leading Adem to take drugs. Both Burak and his father witness the impact of Adem's mistake.
