Gabe is semi-accomplished writer that just had his prison sentence commuted to house arrest. While trying to mend the fragile relationship with his much more successful wife, he is gifted a police scanner from his next door neighbor. Hoping this could serve as the spark to his new novel, Gabe becomes obsessed with the radio, until eerie messages and the screeching sounds of an owl start unearthing memories of grief and guilt. All this manifests in the form of a devilish owl-like figure torturing Gabe. Forcing him to finally recall the pain he caused and the dangerous deals he made that put him behind bars in the first place.
