Felipe Montero, a young historian who applies for a job with Doña Consuelo, General Llorente's widow, to organize and finish writing her late husband's memoirs. In exchange, Felipe must live in the house, a mysterious place that remains in darkness to avoid memories of the general. There, he soon meets Aura, Doña Consuelo's niece, in an unsettling atmosphere reminiscent of an eerie garden. In a state of intoxication, Felipe will discover that Aura's dependence on the old woman goes beyond the imaginable.
