Original title
The Poison Cat
Storyline
In southwest China, an ancient legend of the Poison Cat circulates, accusing women of witchcraft. Tai, a hunter, inexplicably connects the odd events in the village and in the forest with the uncommon behavior of his wife and the ancient legend. This film is a portrait about the phenomenon of the demonization of women in the region, which hides a deep fear among men: losing power in the growing wave of female empowerment.
