When the movie wrapped up, I couldn't shake the feeling of relating to the female lead, silently muttering "What the hell" to myself. While the film shows a lot of graphic violence, it's really trying to say something more profound about kids who don't get enough love and attention from their families and how they might go off the rails and become violent. Even though it's not super scary, the story has some great moments. The overall production is commendable as a horror movie made for the masses.

I initially thought this story was gonna follow a typical, predictable plot. But surprisingly, during the middle part of the film, it shifted into a comedy where the presentation was more important than the actual content, and it was jam-packed with a bunch of classic scenes and shots. The characters' exaggerated behavior just made me feel awkward, especially when the young female lead out of nowhere started doing ballet. And after I watched it, the line "frying baby" ran through my head.

Overall, the movie was pretty solid, although the plot did feel a bit dull and dragged on at times. But that twist at the end really caught my attention. It would've been even better if they had included some background information on ballet or vampire.

The little girl did a fantastic job with her acting, and the story kept me hooked all the way through. While the "girls help girls" ending seemed a tad forced, it still added a nice touch of warmth. I wish they had delved more into the mural discovered by the first male character who met his demise; it felt like they missed an opportunity there. Still, if it was not to set the stage, I guess I can overlook it.

Picture this: you're watching this movie, and for the first half-hour, it's like a rollercoaster ride of surprises. It starts with this mystery vibe, then suddenly you're in this escape room scenario, and before you know it, vampires are in the mix! The director did a masterful job blending these elements, keeping us on our toes the whole time. And the blood? Oh man, they didn't hold back. Plus, I don’t know where “Elon Musk” comes from; “he” is strong as an ox but not the sharpest tool in the shed, adding a hilarious twist to the story.

Starting off, the movie was a bit slow in building tension, but thank goodness for the awesome cast, especially the young talent. They kept things lively and exciting. The pacing was spot-on, mostly unfolding in this confined space, which added to the suspense. Then, halfway through, the humor kicks in, taking things up a notch with more blood and intense scenes. And let's remember those unexpected cameos that added a nice touch of fun. Overall, it's a solid mix of horror and comedy that entertains you.

At first, I was thinking, "Okay, here we go again, just your typical scary flick." But man, was I wrong! Suddenly, out of nowhere, the main character turns into a vampire! I mean, talk about a plot twist that knocked me off my feet. And just when I'm bracing myself for all the twists, bam! The ending flips the script, becoming this "girls helping girls" story. I couldn't tell if the writer was intentionally ditching the rulebook or just having a blast breaking all the rules.

¡Una buena película de serie B! El terror sangriento con toques de humor es original y está bien logrado, resultando en una buena película para quienes disfrutan del género. No es humor burdo, pero tampoco se toma demasiado en serio. Muy convincente.

Su objetivo no es trascender como culto o dar una reflexión, sino ENTRETENER, y viéndolo desde esa manera es excelente. Gran justificación de la historia (por lo tanto buena trama), elenco reconocible y perfecto, sangre y suspenso para llegar al desenlace. El único detalle es que el final sí se siente muy extenso y que tarda mucho en concluir, como si hubieran querido hacerla de mayor duración nomás porque sí; pero es una película que cumple con todo si lo que buscas es un film para pasar el rato.

"Abigail" es una película que logra fusionar hábilmente el terror y la comedia. La cinta destaca por su capacidad para alternar entre momentos de tensión y humor de manera fluida y acertada.

La historia aunque no es completamente original, presenta giros interesantes y una narrativa poco convencional.

Si bien la película no aspira a ser una obra maestra del género, cumple sobradamente su objetivo de entretener. Ofrece momentos de suspense, risas y sorpresas que mantienen al espectador enganchado. La dirección logra equilibrar los elementos de terror y comedia con personalidad propia.

Es una opción recomendable para quienes buscan una experiencia ligera pero efectiva.

Quando o filme terminou, eu não conseguia me livrar da sensação de me identificar com a protagonista feminina, murmurando silenciosamente “que diabos?!” para mim mesma. Embora o filme mostre muita violência gráfica, ele realmente tenta dizer algo mais profundo sobre crianças que não recebem amor e atenção suficiente de suas famílias e como elas podem sair dos trilhos e se tornarem violentas. Mesmo não sendo super assustadora, a história tem ótimos momentos. A produção geral é louvável como um filme de terror feito para o grande público.

Inicialmente pensei que esta história seguiria um enredo típico e previsível. Fiquei agradavelmente surpresa quando, no meio do filme, ele se transformou em uma comédia onde a apresentação era mais importante do que o conteúdo em si, e estava repleto de cenas e tomadas clássicas. O comportamento exagerado dos personagens causou certa estranheza, especialmente quando a jovem protagonista do nada começou a fazer balé. E depois que assisti, a frase “fritando bebê” passou pela minha cabeça.
