Between her aunt Frédérique possessed by the Soukounian spirit, her meeting with the young Oba (a curious boy, half-child, half-shrub) and the quest for the mysterious flower Arum Titan, the holidays in Guadeloupe promise to be rich in twists and turns for Vanille, a 9-year-old Parisian mixed-blood. An initiatory journey, an epic adventure that makes you want to discover the elsewhere, the other and yourself, while offering a reflection on the importance of knowing your roots.
