I almost missed out on this, thinking it was just for kids. But after watching, I was blown away by how fun and charming it was. I'd totally recommend it to anyone. The movie doesn't force any values on you, and each animal character is so cute. Especially when the red parrot flew out of its cage, it was just amazing.

This is a solid movie the whole family can enjoy. The bright colors and scenes of blue sky and white clouds create a sense of freedom. However, the story is a bit predictable and doesn't have much new to offer. If you're just in it for the visuals, it's still worth checking out.

This movie isn't just an adventure story; it explores a bunch of different themes like family emotions, fear, self-perception, love, emotional healing, and even marital relationships. The way family emotions are portrayed in the film really hits you. Whether it's Duck Dad's love for his kids or Duck Mom's dedication to the family, I felt the warmth and power of family love throughout the movie.

The director really nailed the character development in this one. The way Duck Dad grows from avoiding fear to overcoming it and finally understanding it is captivating and feels so natural. The characters evolve genuinely, not forced at all. They're not just puppets in the story; they actually drive it. Duck Mom brings wisdom earned from life experiences, while Duck Son and Duck Daughter show an enthusiasm for the unknown that's worth more than gold.

This movie actually surpassed my expectations. At first, I thought it would be another cliché and childish story, but it broke away from the norm, making it charming. The plot twists are unexpected yet make sense. So, all you really need to do is sit back, laugh, and enjoy this movie.

I've never been disappointed by Illumination Entertainment's films, and this one is no exception. It's rare to come across a road trip animated film in recent years. The overall storyline is solid, with occasional highlights that bring to mind movies like “Rio”, “Happy Feet”, and “The Secret Life of Pets”. Even though I'm already familiar with this kind of movie formula, I still enjoyed it. In fact, it's a testament to the skill of the production team.

This movie really keeps you visually engaged the whole way through. The plot and settings are always changing, and the characters are developed excellently. I absolutely adore this adorable duck family.

“Migration” is actually good. It doesn't feel like a cash grab, even if the ducks would make adorable plushies. This has heart. Even if the story is something we may have seen before, it’s still funny. Awkwafina is good in it. All of the actors are.
The animation is good, not the best of the year, but it's better than “Wish”. Overall, this is better than several animated films released in 2023, including Disney/Pixar's entire animated slate this year. I might have more thoughts later, but I really enjoyed this one, and might even give it a rewatch. This is the best Illumination has to offer.

It’s fun and colorful. Right from the start I knew it was going to be great. This is basically a road trip movie but on wings. The adventurous setting was pleasant. The jokes were good. All the characters were interesting. The (two) salsa scenes were mesmerizing. I hereby conclude that “Migration” was a major win for me.

It was possibly the first Illumination film to feel like it was actually directed by someone with an artistic vision. But otherwise, it shocked me that this wasn’t released by Dreamworks in 2005 (and I mean that in a bad way).

This is one of the most fun films of the year. Awesome visuals, great comedy, amazing score, heartwarming, emotional story, and great characters. Loved it.

I was never huge on Illumination. The only movies I actually liked a lot were “Despicable Me”, “Despicable Me 2”, “Sing”, and “Sing 2”. This movie really reminded me of “Rio” in a big way. This movie is so heartwarming and entertaining, featuring a solid story and good voice acting. It's stupid good. The trailers looked whatever, I'm glad I did not sleep on the actual movie.
