Childhood sweethearts Carlos and Solange marry after a pure courtship, but on their wedding night, Solange rejects intimacy with Carlos. Despite his initial pleas, Carlos becomes angry and assaults her. Although Solange claims to love him, she remains unable to tolerate his touch even after months of marriage. To challenge her feelings of frigidity, she starts seducing strangers on buses daily and even takes Carlos's best friend to a motel. When Carlos discovers her infidelity and confronts her with a weapon, Solange seeks psychiatric help without remorse. The outcome of this tale may be violence and death, a psychological breakthrough, or more bus journeys.
