Vicente_McneilAugust 8, 2025Set in the Wild West, this film is a classic tale of masculinity. The men value their pride above all else, quick to draw their guns over the smallest slight. Even their love for their wives takes a backseat when it comes to settling scores in a duel.

Christa_OrtizAugust 8, 2025It is a great introduction to the Western genre and is worth a watch. While not necessarily 100% historically accurate, this movie is based on commonly accepted Western lore. Val Kilmer was particularly good as Doc Holliday. If you like this movie, try "Unforgiven"!

Anissa_AlvaradoJuly 10, 2025A major misstep in the film is the director's overuse of backlit shots as a tribute to classic Westerns, which ends up disrupting the flow of the movie. The spirit of a Western can’t be captured by just some cool shots and cameos by veteran actors. P.S. Val Kilmer's performance as the pale killer is truly impressive.

zzLyndonJuly 10, 2025Although it’s a bit of a departure from the classic Western I had in mind, you can tell a lot of care went into the production—so many small details really shine. The film aims to give us a different take on Wyatt Earp—supposedly a more “authentic” version, and in certain aspects, it delivers. The main flaw lies in uneven storytelling, with its strengths and themes failing to carry through the entire film.

Lucas.June 5, 2025Ok, not the best movie. BUT it's worth watching for Val Kilmer's performance. Truly one of the best of this decade. Just ignore basically all of Kurt Russell's story line, especially the love story (yikes). But Val as Doc Holliday is 10/10. And there's a fun cameo from Billy Bob Thornton
