Philip_ZimmermanNovember 19, 2024Inspired by Homer’s Odyssey, this Coen Brothers comedy is a delightful outlier in their typically darker repertoire. George Clooney’s performance is natural and endearing. By the way, did he actually sing that unforgettable song?

The films of the Coen Brothers are always so unique, the absurdity mixed with nostalgic tone, coupled with the strong rural style, this kind of black humor is really fascinating. The soundtrack is great, and the three goofy protagonists are a lot of fun.
