Overall, the storyline in "Ratatouille" is solid, with a good pace that keeps you engaged. Some lines offer insightful observations that even tug at your heartstrings. However, the downside is that the topics feel superficial, lacking deeper exploration. The conflicts can be a bit confusing at times, and the characters (especially the mice) undergo sudden changes of thoughts. Still, it's intriguing to consider how Remy might represent women in the past or specific industries today as the unsung heroes.

The story is quite inspirational, reminding us that as long as you have a dream and are always ready to work hard, there's still a chance of success! I'm still a little resistant to the idea of a mouse becoming a top chef, though it's purely a matter of personal preference unrelated to the quality of the film. Overall, the movie is excellent!

Beyond Hollywood's traditional narrative, this movie has a special, relaxed European flavor. Compared to movies with fantasy plots such as Toy Story and Monsters, Inc., there are more realistic considerations in this movie, though the protagonist is an animal. The ending is also not as flawless as the other films. Underneath the sweetness are the epiphanies and reflections that are both sad and carefree. It’s truly a movie that reflects on the larger life through small details, and is suitable for all ages.

I did not notice any underlying messages in the film when I was a kid, but I'm surprised at how good it is when I watched it again; the script is beyond perfection. It is more than enough if the plot had stopped at the power struggle between the main character and the chef. However, the scriptwriters introduced the role of "critic" to bring the script to the next level in terms of expression and depth. This seemingly juvenile animated film is essentially discussing the relationship between art, artists, and critics. Of course, given the genre's commercial nature, many parts could have been more detailed and have a more relaxed pace, which is a bit of a pity.

Adorable

I never thought it was possible to want to eat something prepared by a mouse. But Remy is the cutest, I just wanted him to follow his dream and be happy, even though I had no idea of how all that could end up well.

An unexpected chef

This beautiful Pixar animated movie shows us that the background in which we are born should not be a hindrance to achieve our most desired dreams.
