How the two actors can have so much chemistry and not like each other

The second part of the trilogy has something special in itself, it introduces us to a more adult Jesse and Celine, whom we already know, we know what they lived together and what didn't happen, but there is also expectations about their future. With that duality plays the whole movie, where they both exchange conversations as if no time has passed. The final scene is exquisite.

"I don't want to be the kind of person who gets divorced at 52...in tears and admits that he never loved his partner...feeling like my life is sucked up by a vacuum cleaner. There is nothingness." The meeting after many years, accompanied by memories, careful temptation, and roundabout expression is beautiful.

Creo que el real paso del tiempo entre una entrega y otra, ayuda a que esta película gane bastante como secuela. El ver a los personajes reunirse después de 9 años trae una sensación de familiaridad y deseo que transmite muy bien lo que sienten los protagonistas. Por eso ni imagino lo que debe haber sido para alguien que vio esta trilogía esperando realmente 9 años entre la salida de cada película.

Además, se justifica perfecto como secuela porque ese paso del tiempo se nota entre los personajes, en el cambio en su forma de ver el mundo y las relaciones, interactuando incluso con cosas de la película anterior.
Por mi parte, mucha identificación con Celine y la forma que tiene de vivir sus vínculos amorosos.

Y que HDP Linklater cómo dejó ese final, aunque hay que admitir que el tipo es coherente.


Mañana se rompe esa tercera parte.

Em um trem de Budapeste a Viena, Jesse e Celine se conhecem e passam o dia juntos, despedindo-se no dia seguinte. Nove anos depois eles se reencontram em Paris, mais uma vez ao acaso.
