Tracy Turnblad, a girl whose only passion is dancing, dreams of participating in "The Corny Collins Show", the most important dance program in Baltimore. Without losing her mischievousness, Tracy makes a place for herself despite the fat-phobic, racist and prejudiced gaze of the channel's authorities.
