Twelve years of a one-night affair intertwined with a twelve-year search for family made me believe in the invisible bond that connects everything. The moments where both leads play the same melody miles apart always hit me right in the feels. Sure, it’s all pretty idealized and surreal, but that’s exactly where the film’s magic lies.

This movie leans heavily on the idea that "it's all in your DNA," while almost completely overlooking the value of personal effort. It’s definitely not a kids’ flick. The plot can be a bit over-the-top and rough around the edges, but I still love it. The soundtrack is phenomenal—honestly, the original score alone is worth buying, even more so than the movie itself.

This captivating film seems almost like a free adaptation of Oliver Twist, featuring the great (and much-missed) Robin Williams!
