The film follows the fictional Kazakhstani journalist, Borat Sagdiyev, as he travels through the United States to make a documentary. Through unscripted interactions with real-life Americans, Borat's antics lead to hilariously awkward and emotionally charged encounters, challenging cultural norms and exposing societal beliefs.
