Continuando con la Fase 3 del UCM, Doctor Strange me pareció una muy buena película. Cuenta con una buena historia que, aunque resulta un poco repetitiva (parece una versión de Iron Man pero con magia), ofrece una gran introducción al plano místico en el universo de Marvel. La fotografía y los efectos visuales son una locura absoluta, el desarrollo de personajes está correcto (quizás algo apresurado), la dirección es muy buena y tanto el guion como los diálogos se sienten sólidos, sumados a un vestuario y una banda sonora acertados. Es una propuesta que, con una gran historia y un humor que no se siente tan fuera de lugar como en otras entregas, te entretiene muchísimo. Por otro lado, presenta algunos aspectos negativos: el villano, como ya se está haciendo costumbre en Marvel, carece de un gran desarrollo; podrían haber aprovechado mucho mejor a Kaecilius y darle una historia verdaderamente trascendente. Además, las reglas del mundo mágico y la escala de poder de ciertos personajes no están del todo claras, lo que genera o hace parecer que existen incoherencias en el guion. En resumen, es una película sumamente entretenida y bien hecha que nos introduce a un gran personaje para continuar con el UCM.
