Andre - The Voice of Wine An epic journey of a Russian emigre who changed the world of wine forever. Andre Tchelistcheff, born into a Aristocratic family in Moscow remarkably survived the upheaval of the Russian revolution and the civil war where he was wounded on the frozen Crimean Steppe. Known as the 'Dean of American Wine' his uncompromising passion helped move the wine industry from a virtually moribund state after the repeal of prohibition on to its renaissance. Andre's philosophy about life and his love for wine influenced generations of wine makers throughout the world. A film, a tale, a true story that inspires and moves!
