The Truman Show

I loved this Jim Carrey movie!! The Truman Show, because it tells us how Truman is trapped in a reality show without knowing it!, Truman He is trapped in a plastic bubble without knowing it, he was born and lived his whole life deceived about who he really is, Christof adopted him when he was a child, and put hidden cameras everywhere in the largest recording set ever built, He has been there since he was born, and his life goes on as normal as the daily life of any person, But one day he notices something strange and that is that a lighting reflector falls from the set, and this makes him suspect that something strange is happening, So for the first time in his life he tries to be spontaneous, and do the first thing that comes to mind, And so one day he goes to work in his car with his wife, but he doesn't take the road he always takes, but he takes a different road, And that's when he realizes that there are no other cars as there was a long line on the first road he took, So Truman still suspect that something strange is going on, but He don't know for sure what it is, and tells his supposed wife that she is no one else, but an actress hired by Christof to play that role, But she tells him on several occasions that nothing strange is happening, but at the same time that she talks to him, she makes commercials promoting products that are in her kitchen, These products are precisely The Truman Show commercials that bring billions of dollars in profits to Christof, because this TV Show is seen all over the world via satellites, And Truman doesn't benefit from these profits, but is exploited by the neoliberal capitalist system, those who tell us that this film is a protest against the system, Truman tries to escape from Seahaven, but Christof always prevents him from doing so with various tricks such as pretending that the bus is broken, that the flights are suspended, that there is a leak in a nuclear reactor, and even with what Truman fears most with a storm at sea, however Truman musters up the courage and despite his fear of the sea, he embarks on a sailboat and begins to sail. Christof, to prevent him from leaving, makes a storm with special effects on the set, but Truman continues forward and despite almost drowning, he manages to overcome his fears and defeat Christof because when he reaches the end of the set, he realizes that it is a painting, and that there are some stairs that lead outside, So before leaving he says his famous phrase that he always said to those he thought were his neighbors…"In case I don't see you, good morning, good afternoon and good night"…This movie tells us that we should always question ourselves who we really are and if we are being manipulated by someone else, we cannot wait 30 years like Truman did to question himself about his life but it is something we should do daily and thus prevent other people from controlling us and manipulating us at will because they are powerful, and have always had the hegemonic power of traditional media such as Radio, Television, Cinema, Newspapers, and modern media such as social networks also manipulated by the most powerful so that we see what they want us to see nothing more,  Wow i Think that This has become a reality in our times and we have not realized it either, because now we live trapped in Social Networks controlled by the modern Christof Elon Musk without suspecting it just like Truman!!, who tells us about the immense power that Traditional Media have!, like Radio!, TV!, and Cinema!, and the most modern Media like Social Networks!, and now adding AI (We Have No Escape), in Conclusion, we are trapped just like Truman, and we have not realized that the Christof of our days is called Elon Musk!, who wants the Monopoly of Social Networks!, To manipulate Us for their own selfish economic benefits like Christof… Please We should (((wake up))) like Truman!, And get away from all the social networks that this powerful media magnate of our days controls! To control us!...
