Adaptations in Cinema

English version:
When we talk about ADAPTATIONS, many films or short films come to mind, which are an adaptation of a book, a game, a comic, a manga and etc., but there are many Adaptations in the cinema...

Example: Sonic, Mario, The Lorax, even Jurassic Park among other installments

What is an Adaptation?

Well, it is a new version of a movie, Book, Game or Comic/Manga previously released or released to the public, since we have an idea that it is an adaptation, it is good to know that the “Essence” of the original product is not always respected, A good example is the Marvel movies, which, as we already know, are based on comics, but they do not exactly follow the comic, but rather they encompass several comics to give us a final product, which in the end may or may not be to the liking of the public

Why are Adaptations made?

Well, Adaptations are a new version of a commercial product, as read previously, but why is it done? It can be due to several factors such as:

1)To avoid letting the product die, this is usually done in superhero movies and games

2) By Marketing, this is done in most adaptations, since they need to sell to produce

3) By Generations, this is done, when there was already a work, but it went out of fashion and they make a “Rebot”, which is the same, but more current

Types of Adaptations

Book Adaptations:it is a normal adaptation, of course it comes from a book, we have several examples, such as “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” or “Alice in Wonderland”, which are stories, fables and have a variety of genres, as they are: Suspense, Fantasy, Comedy and Romance

Comic adaptations: here we move on to the big leagues, since they are the most famous adaptations worldwide, here they adapt comics to the big screen, for example "The Avengers" "The Batman", where they take various elements from various comics that make up the movie

Now let's talk about the best Adaptations in the cinema
Note: this is my opinion

3).“Sonic the movie”: why in the first place? Because this movie is good and has great humor, the bad thing is that the story does not fit so well with what the game represents, for example the “Green Hill” area, which In the game it is a map that is all beautiful, but in the movie it is a city, a town

2)."The Avengers: Infinity War": this movie, this movie considered by many to be the best superhero movie, and I don't judge them, but it is in this position since there are holes in the script, I'm not going to get into the subject, but there are several and especially considering that this movie is based on the comic “The Avengers: War of the Gem” but even based on this comic, it was not that good

1).“The Titanic”: Oh, this is my favorite, it is an adaptation of the best, 10/10, I have no words, it only remains to say that they transmitted that feeling of panic, fear and anxiety when the ship was sinking, I mean it is cinema and that's without counting the performances of the actors
