G-onzalo18 de abril de 2024Guillermo del Toro's style shines through in a big way as he deconstructs the original source material, you know? The story immerses itself in the backdrop of Italy during World War II, incorporating elements of war. In the film, Pinocchio is no longer just a wooden puppet yearning to become a real boy; instead, exploring life, death, and emotions takes center stage. The film has a laid-back and casual style, but it was not as entertaining as I expected before watching it. Still, the two-hour journey of stop-motion special effects and the unique artistic style truly captivated the audience. And let's not forget about the film's enjoyable musical and dance sequences. The ending, particularly, hits you right in the feels—it's incredibly moving.
