bartoll17 de septiembre de 2025The special feels rushed, as it has to develop the entire narrative within a 40-minute runtime. Sally’s character arc is particularly unconvincing—she starts off hating summer camp but suddenly changes her mind when she hears it might close, which makes her emotional changes feel forced and unnatural. The narrative struggles with logical inconsistencies, yet the short does have its charms. I genuinely enjoyed the animation style, and its nostalgic longing for the simplicity of childhood summers carries a certain sweetness.
