The advantage of staying in a single room at a airbnb during film festival is that you will have all kinds of amazing roommates. This time it was Inés Bortagaray, a Uruguayan female screenwriter of this Chilean film in official competition. Of course, because we both leave early and come back late, we didn't meet and chat until last night. Like most A-level films, even in the main competition, the film festival only covers the travel expenses of two people for the film, which is usually given to the director and producer. Inés's ticket was actually exchanged for travel points. This film is good, and it is another example of San Sebastian telling a simple story well this time. It can be said to be a female awakening version of Saltburn with a bit of awkward irony.
