Es irónico y muy triste cómo alguien que pasó su vida velando por la memoria de su país, ahora sufre por estarla perdiendo. Es imposible no conmoverse.

When Augusto was in the prime of his life, he was a television journalist in Chile dedicated to preserving the "forbidden memories" of the nation. However, as he aged and his body weakened, he became a victim of Alzheimer's, unable to retain his own memories.
Paulina, his devoted wife who had once risen to the position of Minister of the National Council for Culture and the Arts. Seemed the director faced the challenging task of convincing retired political figures to allow in-depth filming of their private lives.
Given that in archival footage, Augusto had mocked the military regime of Pinochet to acclaimed filmmaker Raúl Ruiz, stating that it didn't allow Chileans to die but rather made them disappeared and lose their memories, it was undoubtedly a difficult endeavor.
In the era where life expectancy in Chile was remarkably high, and despite the irony of Augusto losing his memories, Paulina, standing by him through thick and thin, continued to draw strength from their enduring emotional connection to live a meaningful life.
