El baile (2020)★ 6.3/10

As someone who lives far from New York, it’s always a pleasure to see plays being performed on screen. Ryan Murphy made a beautiful version of what I believe being a beautiful musical. Songs and choreographies are catchy. Besides that, they got a group of actors known for their remarkable skills, both acting and singing, plus some beginners that showed what they came for. But of course, the most important part of the movie is the discussion created by the main plot, a girl who wants to take her girlfriend to the prom. The end is touching, it makes you believe we can still hope for a better future.
