Lucas.10 de junio de 2025I remember first watching this and thinking it was good. But then I rewatched it and its so inconsequential. Lucas Hedges is the best part of it. The rest is just like skaterboy blues

Lautaro L20 de octubre de 2021A great debut for Jonah Hill
The passage from childhood to adolescence in the 90s. New friendships, new interests, desire for validation among peers, and first sexual approaches. All this, which does not seem at all new, we will see it here, but with a special touch,. The young director Jonah Hill, immerses us in the golden 90s, with jokes, video games and music of that time. All this with a cinematography that uses aspect ratio and distinctive tones that immerse us from the very beginning. Humor is present all throughout in the film (not a surprise, taking into account the comic history of its screenwriter and director) and it also touches, but does not delve into topics such as the difficulties of living in American suburbs, the dilemma of overcoming or being stranded in the same socio-economical position. Jonah Hill instead of connecting all these themes to deliver a strong message, prefers the simple and is left with delivering a nineties and pleasant message about unconditional teenage friendship.
