La casa de los espíritus (1993)★ 7.4/10

Me encanto esta pelicula en todos sus niveles. Con un elenco de estrellas y basada en una novela de Isabel Allende.

Visually, the film is stunning. From the grandeur of the family estate to the lush countryside of the South, every frame feels like a living painting. Hans Zimmer’s score adds a sweeping, almost mythic quality that complements the visuals beautifully.

Adapted from the novel, this film merges realism with magical elements. While Meryl Streep may seem slightly miscast as a young girl at age 44, her nuanced performance still captures a believable innocence. As her character matures into motherhood, she embodies warmth and quiet strength with remarkable grace.
