La momia (1999)★ 7.3/10

Buenas

An excellent mainstream adventure film that has everything to be enjoyable: plenty of horror, a fascinating setting, intelligent humor, likeable characters portrayed by an excellent cast, a fine soundtrack and remarkable visual effects. It is one of my favorite films of the genre.

Very iconic movie of the time (i.e. my childhood) and a very grandiose proposition which was very well executed. Super cool and easy watch, enticing storyline and compelling adventure lead by interesting characters and amazing actors; coolest of all Rachel Weisz, contrary to popular opinion, who place so much of the hype on Brendan Fraser - no! She was such a badass! But yeah, cool movie, definitely watch it.

This Sunday classic is an exploration adventure with the touch of past filmmaking. Besides having fun action scenes, it is a great option to enjoy while learning about Egyptian mythology.

This fun adventure is one of the first familiar and humorous approaches to a story that is generally a horror one. This version of "The Mummy" is ideal for the little ones at home.
