Inocencia interrumpida (1999)★ 7.7/10

Everyone's performance here is outstanding! No wonder why this is a movie so powerful and remembered.

Incredible performances, a movie that left its mark on me and sort of haunts me in a beautiful way to this day from how much I relate to it. Please watch it, it's not even a favor you do to yourself, it's a cinematic service.

To date, both one of my personal favorite movies and performances by both Angelina and Winona. What a duo they formed in this one. An incredibly simple plot, but which discusses and portrays complex themes and situations in very raw and downright "ugly" ways at a time when people weren't really talking about that, and in a much more sensitive way, I feel, than in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest", for example, which is, granted, just as incredible of a film, but narrates/looks at a similar situation with a different tone and focus point (case in point, maybe, it was made way, way before). Please do yourselves a favor and watch it, if only to see the true range of Angelina Jolie's talent, which goes much beyond Tomb Raider.
