“Napoleon Dynamite” focuses on the overlooked “outsiders” who rarely make it into our field of vision, proving that youth isn’t the exclusive domain of quarterbacks and cheerleaders. Ordinary kids have their own brand of magic.

The soundtrack is a real highlight—from the buoyant prom dance tunes to the breezy number in the campaign talent show, it brims with youthful energy. My favorite is the closing song, which makes it impossible not to sway along.
