Viaje 2: La isla misteriosa (2012)★ 6.1/10

Compared with the first film, though, it’s an improvement—moving from cramped, artificial-looking interiors to a lush island setting and even delivering a thrilling ocean storm sequence.

This is pure fast-food cinema; even the 3D visuals can’t elevate it into something more. With a stitched-together plot and weak storytelling, it can only be followed along the rails it lays down, offering no real advancement over its genre peers.

I love this movie because I enjoyed it, the actors are amazing!! I recommend that you read the book and then watch the movie.

The special effects are impressive, and the actors give strong performance. As for the plot...it often feels like it's just rushing to the next scene.

If you’re scared of the deep sea, don’t watch this. I kept wanting to leave during the second half—it was just way too scary!

he opening was way too rushed, and the decision to go to the island was a bit confusing. Later, I realized that I just needed to lower my expectations and turn off my brain in order to enjoy the film. This isn’t a clever, tightly plotted treasure hunt—it’s just a fun adventure movie.
