Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019)★ 6.8/10

I'll admit I went into this with slightly low expectations because I have a hard time separating Zac Efron from High School Musical and such. However, I was baffled from the get to be proven wrong, and very gladly so. Even though the film ingeniously chooses to tell things from a different point of view and kind of come from a different place from that of "true crime" (which I am a fan of, by the way; added to the lowering of initial expectations and maximized final surprise effect), he delivers an amazing performance throughout and really ties things together as a conductor on a storytelling level. Great watch.

Zac Efron’s performance is especially outstanding, as he achieves to capture the essence and peculiarities of Ted Bundy’s personality with an incredible accuracy.
