A humanitarian lawyer, running between the superpowers of the United States and the Soviet Union, drew a thin red line for the imminent Cold War. Watching Spielberg make this kind of thematic film, even though he knows that there will be no surprises, he has to bow to the director's textbook neat camera. Ironically, the Academy has not liked this kind of orthodox academic style in recent years.
