And I want details! What's the temperature? Chair choice? Alone or with a crowd? Are there snacks involved? No restraints, what do you need to have the best movie-watching experience ever?

Gwen PemAugust 26, 2025Has anyone watched Shiny Happy People?
Last night I binged the first season the Prime documentary about the Duggars. I found the doc fascinating, but I think that was mostly because I already agreed with what it had to say. If you've seen the it, what did…

Yes, we are doing it again! Not to toot my own horn, but the first movie club was a roaring success. And this second iteration is poised to be even more fiery. For the September Movie Club, the person picking the movie…

GulaDaddyAugust 25, 2025Best Anti-hero movies or series.
Gonna start watching Peacemaker season 2. The Boys, Gen V, and the first two Deadpool movies had been generally a fun ride. Any other films or series like this that you would recommend?

Axel MatfinAugust 25, 2025Live review - Mission Impossible 2: Nu-Metal the Movie
I will be watching and providing my thoughts on Mission Impossible 2. Easily most people's least favourite film in the series, although I personally think 3 is the worst. However I'm interested to give this a spin for…

LucyInTheWoodsAugust 25, 2025Anyone watched the old HK film Mr Vampire (1985)? It's funny and scary and the iconic music when the ghost bridal carriage appeared lived in my head rent free (imo that scene is even more goosebump-inducing than any…

Jose Goyo Hernandez FernandezAugust 25, 2025Locke (2013)
This is an odd choice, I know. There are no car chases, no tricked-out rides, no explosions. There is only one man, Ivan Locke, driving his BMW X5 down the highway for 80 minutes in real time. And yet, it's one of the…

The DCAugust 23, 2025Tell me about some cool music videos
I feel music videos can be way more daring and experimental than many avant-garde, poetic, weird short films. Also, way more engaging. So, what's your favourite, weird, boundary-pushing music video? To get the ball…
4Gwen PemAugust 22, 2025Have there not been as many good movies so far this year? Or am I just bitter?
I've been seeing more new movies than almost any other time in my life this year. But I'm struggling to come up with a decent top 10 of movies I really enjoyed. Even a top 5. I know the back half of the year tends to be…
3SUNSAugust 22, 2025I don't understand why people are overthinking Weapons
I enjoyed it. A solid 8/10. Didn't get the assault rifle in the sky but it was a vibe. Like, I love analyzing movies but I really loved this because I didn't want to analyze it.

heyaleAugust 22, 2025What do you think about the movie Weapons?
Is it worth watching in the cinema, or is it more like a Sunday movie?
2Cine FilesAugust 21, 2025Is Kill Bill just a adaptation of The Bride Wore Black?
Someone told me that Kill Bill is just an adaptation of The Bride Wore Black. Tarantino, the man who has seen every movie ever, claims he's never seen this François Truffaut movie. Do you think it's a coincidence or did…
5The DCAugust 21, 2025Best alien invasion movie?
There are some great ones out there, and recent news make it seem like we're being invaded (check out what happened in Mozambique) With that in mind, what's the best alien invasion movie? I love Mars Attacks! When I was…
