Nouvelle Vague afters

Great movie, very funny and lighthearted. The exact kind of satire I can sit through for almost 2 hours. What did you guys think?

The Blue Trail was my first VIFF movie this year, and I loved almost everything about it. I'd never say a movie has heart, or that it keeps you on the edge of your seat, or that it makes old people uncomfy. But The Blue…

There are so many unforgettable movie quotes. What is one of your favourites? One of mine is “Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.” — The Shawshank Redemption (1994)

Just watched VIFF screeners and...

I am emotionally traumatized. But seriously, SUCH good movies. If you are thinking about watching them, I'd say go do it asap! Movie 1: It Was Just An Accident - thought it would be great and it was even better than I…

It Was Just an Accident is probably the best movie of the decade, so far

And yes, I already watched (and love) One Battle After Another. But Panahi’s film is even more of a masterpiece!

It Was Just An Accident First Reaction

Wow. What a stellar way to open VIFF. It was funny it was heartbreaking it was intense and at the center of the story is a moral dilemma that will keep you thinking long after it’s done. Strong recommend, see this as…

Favourite Wes Anderson Character?

I don't want to say mine is Gustav H. because he's too popular of a character, so I'll say Kristofferson from Fantastic Mr. Fox. Who's yours?

Movies with the most questionable age-gaps

So, for some reason, age-gap romance is a thing and it looms large in movies and shows. I'm thinking like Ezra and Aria from PLL (an abomination of a SHIP if you ask me). What's the worst one you can think of?

SWEATER WEATHER MOVIES, GO!

Recently regressed back to my Twilight days and watched New Moon while wearing a sweater, by the window. It was a vibe. There was a lavender vanilla candle and fuzzy blanket to set the mood. What's yours?

FAVORITE MOVIE ENDING??

She Loves ExplosionsOctober 2, 2025

I'm hyped for Greenland 2

I don't know how I didn't know this trailer was out, but I'm so ready for another disaster action movie with Gerard Butler. And Roman Griffin-Davis is in this too. Hopefully he lasts longer than he did in The Long Walk…

What's your favourite spooky season song?

Lana singing Season of the Witch on the scary stories soundtrack always gives me spooky cozy fall vibes

Weird, experimental horror?

Spooky season is upon us, and that means horror movies. What are some weird, experimental, avant-garde horror movies you think everyone should watch at least once? The weirder, the better.
