Films about twins...

There are two main subgenres. The first one focuses on identical twins and they trade places or names and stuff like that. My favourite example here is, by far, The Barbarians. I don't want to hype it too much, but it will change your life (especially if you're a twin).

The other subgenre is about twins who are nothing like each other. It's crazy to think these guys have the same genetic material. The best example is, of course, Twins.

The two best films ever made about twins came out in 1987 and 1988, and they both include very muscular men. Something to think about.

What's your fave?

Dead Ringers fits the first genre you mentioned quite beautifully and strangely, too...
and I think Peter Greenaway's A Zed & Two Noughts does too, but I don't remember much about it besides that I liked it and that it's so, so sick (in a good way)
seems like I showed up just to talk about the horror version of twins movies!

I prefer the evil twin stories... where we follow the good twin but then its revealled that there's an evil twin living in the attic or something. im thinking of a very specific Simpsons episode
