The Bride! flops :(

It's still early days, but it looks like The Bride!, the new movie from Maggie Gyllenhaal, is going to be a box-office bomb.

Released on the same weekend as International Women's Day, The Bride! only pulled $7-million on the weekend against a budget of over $90-million. Not a great start.

With the critics giving it a pretty low rating, it's hard to think that it will pick up steam via word of mouth.

Regardless, I'll be going to see it this week.

Are you going to see The Bride!?

I've read a few reviews and I still don't know that the story is about. I dunno.

I knew it would flop as soon as I saw the trailer.

It's hard to know what to make of this movie. Plus, we've already got a Frankenstein movie this year. I am intrigued by what I'm hearing about it though. And I love Maggie Gyllenhaal... best I can give you is a maybe.

the box office really said: "let’s make fun of the girl who took a risk and put herself out there creatively"
