Does anyone remember Hardcore Henry?

In 2015, Hardcore Henry became the first (and so far only) film to be shot entirely in first person. Watching the movie feels pretty similar to a video game on autopilot. I don't love the movie, but I admire that it was willing to take a risk and experiment with the medium of film.

What other movies experimented with film and tried something totally unique?

It's its own type of masterpiece!

Yes, the experimentation aspect has value, distancing it from the egotism of certain fellas. There are great anonymous personalities that would be wonderful to mirror with that technical approach.

My friend actually fell asleep during this movie while watching it in... the D-Box of all places. We had just finished a 48 hour film competition so there was a bit of extenuating circumstances, but still!

Literally do not remember this movie. But the movie Aggro Drift is a recent release that is completely unique. Not really a movie, not really a video game, a secret third thing.

Of course, I really like this one. I think it's clever, and it knows it's a gimmick, so it's not like the movie wants to trick you. Also, it has that weird FPS game campaign vibe that makes no sense
