Ahhhhh I had a brief dream that I could watch The Phoenician Scheme at Cannes somehow... Until I realised I won't be in Europe then. Not to mention I don't have accreditation... Life's so unfair lmao

Wes Anderson's new one looks very Wes Anderson-y. I'll be seated for it

Replying to Lucas.: I was watching the trailer for that the other day. I started by rolling my eyes at how Wes Anderson-y it was, but he got me near the end with a couple jokes. I think I'll have to see it as well.

Replying to Lucas.: I wish Wes would evolve a bit more. I get that it's his developed style and all, but everyone's doing it these days and it's getting a bit stale. The man needs to step it up a notch if I'm to get excited for one of his movies again.

Replying to Matthew Alan Schmidt: Yes, the thing is there is a devouted fanbase that loves his style. But I agree with you. I would love to see what he would do if he did a movie in a completely new style. Might be a cool challenge for him

Replying to Lucas.: Honestly I think SNL was onto something with that Wes Anderson horror movie skit. I think he should give it a real go
