A summer to remember
General Reviews
What else do we love about summer? Vacations? Or visiting the beach, the pool, and drinking something cold. If you're a kid, a soda or juice. If you're an adult, a piña colada isn't bad, or a root beer. No, then one made with fermented yeast.
Just enjoying the summer atmosphere and smiling, lying on the sand with your kids running, jumping, and throwing themselves into the waves, and the furry dog running after them. Watching his mane dance in the air and suddenly they put on some music (I've Had) The Time of My Life.

Life" and you start to remember when you were a little girl and you ran on the same sand that your children and your parents run on now, lying on the sand, listening to the radio and seeing the immensity of the sea, and you remember those movies that impacted you with their plot and soundtrack.
It transports you directly to the summer of 1987 where everything was good, peaceful and only your parents had your worries and you were just a little girl. After that fantastic day at the beach, you wanted to go to the movies with your parents, but you couldn't because Dirty Dancing wasn't suitable for children and you had to watch children's summer movies. But that movie that was in theaters, you had it in mind and you wanted to see it.

Months later, your uncles bought a VHS and at your teenage cousins' house, you were able to watch the out-of-season summer movie, but you managed to see Dirty Dancing and your parents wouldn't find out! Because all hell breaks loose!... And the movie begins. Starring: Jennifer Grey as Frances "Baby" Houseman Patrick Swayze as Johnny Castle. As the film progresses, you discover why he has a specific age and why he's not for a ten-year-old girl.
You begin to see the connection and love that develops between Baby and Johnny, the dance teacher, and the dance moves that give the film its name. Your memories continue you think, “It really wasn’t right for me to watch it at that age! Who wouldn’t love to dance like that?” The chemistry between the characters was great, but you need to watch the movie again, and when you get back home, everyone’s tired and going to sleep, but you’re not. You’re tired, yes, but you can’t get that movie out of your head, and you put on a CD; it’s not a VHS anymore, and you think, “Every time I watch this movie, I feel like the sun shines a little brighter, even though it’s nighttime.

The air smells like vacation, even though I’ve already started to enjoy it.” And you hear: "Time of My Life" in the movie. You can't help but smile; your childhood memories mixed with a forbidden film are like summertime ringing in your ears and moving in your eyes. Your memories return, years later, when you were old enough for the movie, and you dance to its songs on hot summer days, sweating and the flannel feeling heavy from so much sweat, laughter, and good times with friends.

And you want to imitate the acrobatic dances where everyone ends up on the floor, sore but laughing. The movie that makes you remember summer, in the freedom and in those unforgettable moments, which will never return because they were during your childhood and adolescence.
