It's an engaging series, well-written, well-developed, and that's despite the teenage theme.

The casting in "The Summer I Turned Pretty" is satisfactory, especially with the attractive Asian actors. However, the storyline is clichéd, with predictable development and an obvious conclusion that sees the main character and the older brother finally becoming a couple.

Many scenes in "The Summer I Turned Pretty" feel awkward. While I can somewhat understand the main character's attraction to the older brother, the younger brother, with his blonde hair, blue eyes, sunny disposition, and good looks, seems more appealing. Shayla is incredibly beautiful.

I Cried

There is summer, there is sea breeze, there is a beach house, and there are handsome guys to accompany me. Who has to choose?

I Wathed It In Just One Day

After watching it in one go😹The male and female protagonists are so tangled up and down that I want to pull my hair out, but no matter how dirty or tangled, this kind of drama will always be my guilty pleasure. The whole cast is so beautiful and handsome. I like Shayla the most, the rich and handsome girl is the queen.

Bad Story

I see question marks all over my face. The love I have always had can change several times in just a few dozen days...? I prefer a friendship between two moms to a multi-horse relationship between 16-year-olds.

It's A Little Bit Heavy, But Touching

Almost every time I watch this kind of American youth/small town life drama, I feel that's a life I could never have, especially this one, probably because the main character is Asian. It's pretty good-looking, the overall tone is relatively relaxed, and the slightly heavy part is also very touching. The heroine Belly wanders between a pair of childhood sweetheart brothers, Conrad is unpredictable, mysterious and charming, and Jeremiah is sunny, handsome, lively and active. Cameron, who fell in love for a while, is also very cute, but unfortunately he is just a tool man. Brother Steven's personality is poor, his profile is very similar to Chen Youwei, it's out of the play. The decades of friendship between the two mothers is touching and I hope Susannah survives. Looking forward to the second season. PS. The setting of the two bi men is deliberate and useless. If you don’t want to write about LGBTQ characters, you don’t have to write them. This will only cause discomfort.

Everyone Loves Belly

Sure enough, it's a drama where all the boys like the heroine. The only boy who wants to date someone else is her own brother
