Monday Mornings (2013)★ 7.9/10

I’m rating this series in the middle of the first episode. It is the first series that I want to stop watching because of the music. The story is very interesting but I find the screenplay is not harmoniously written in the sense that it imbalances the tone of the series and the characters. I never wanted badly to write any review, especially not a pleasant one, but something really bothers me with this series. The second worst apart from the music is the casts are not charming. I'm quite surprised that this series was created by David E. Kelly. I'm a fan of his works, but I'm not sure if I will continue watching and finish the series.

For me this is a brilliant show. It seems to me to be very realistic and does not sugar coat the unfortunate side of medicine as some shows do, it is also for me very educational. I am and have been a big fan of Alfred Molina, so this may seem a biased review. He, Ving Rhames and Keoung Sim are outstanding and make me smile whenever they are on screen. The whole cast is amazing really and all put in very good performances, right down to the tiresome lawyer played by Anthony Heald. 8/10 for me, some episodes get 10/10.

It’s a superb medical drama that is beautifully written and produced; it is indeed one of the finest ever made for television. Alfred Molina is superb as the head of the hospital and he is not alone in that distinction. Ving Rhames is equally impressive as the emergency room surgical chief, and this may be his most outstanding work to date. Bill Irwin is also featured in an excellent portrayal of the doctor in charge of harvesting donated organs and his performance is both funny, moving, and complex. Everything and everyone in this program shines. It is a truly intelligent and emotionally challenging hour that is unique in the history of television. Producer David E. Kelley can be proud of what he achieved with “Monday Mornings”.

This is a thoroughly entertaining medical drama. The character development is superb. Stand out performances by Ving Rhames, Keoung Sim and Alfred Molina. There's really not a weak cast member. Story lines are good. It's not frenetic like ER, nor as bizarre as "House". It's closer to "Grey's Anatomy" with a strong focus on the medical issues and less on the soap opera aspects. My family members in the health field agree this show is pretty much on target. Check it out.

Essa é uma das obras de David E. Kelley que carece de valor de entretenimento, como "O Desafio" e assim por diante. Não é muito "bonita", e é um desafio fazer uma série assim nos dias de hoje, por isso merece cinco estrelas. É muito real, brutalmente, mas é impossível que um sujeito como o protagonista sobreviva.

Este drama médico es muy parecido a la realidad, refleja más las relaciones entre el médico y el paciente y los conflictos entre la medicina y la ley. Es fría, pero conmovedora y cada personaje tiene características distintivas, pero ninguno es el centro de atención. En lo personal, no puedo elogiar lo suficiente a esta serie, pero es una pena que la cancelaran.

Las series de televisión de los años 2010 son realmente buenas, en especial los dramas profesionales. No insertan aleatoriamente las relaciones de las vidas privadas de varios personajes solo para rellenar tiempo, aunque algunas comenzaron a hacerlo. Aparte de la disección profesional de las vidas laborales de los médicos, también muestra el lado cálido y algunos principios profesionales 'inhumanos'. En cierta medida, le permite a la audiencia entender mejor las características de la profesión médica de una forma más dramática.

Esse drama médico está muito próximo da realidade, refletindo mais nas relações médico-paciente e nos conflitos entre a medicina e o direito. É frio, mas comovente, e cada personagem tem características distintas, sem ninguém monopolizando os holofotes. Pessoalmente, acredito que esta série merece todos os elogios. É uma pena ter sido cancelada.

Dessa vez, eles mandaram bem na representatividade. Incluíram personagens negros, indianos e coreanos. Os médicos também são seres humanos e fazem julgamentos com base em suas emoções e experiências durante o diagnóstico e tratamento, que nem sempre são corretos, por isso as reuniões da manhã de segunda-feira tornam-se um destaque. Essa série é tão boa quanto "Grey's Anatomy", e alguns dos personagens são muito desagradáveis! Algumas pessoas lidam com os problemas de uma forma que desafia os próprios valores!

Esta vez, usaron la carta de la etnia al máximo, con personajes negros, indios y coreanos. Los médicos también son seres humanos y juzgan en base a sus emociones y experiencias durante diagnósticos y tratamientos, que no siempre son acertados, por lo que las reuniones de los lunes por la mañana son algo que resaltar. ¡Esta serie no es tan buena como 'Grey's Anatomy' y algunos de los personajes son muy desagradables! ¡Algunas personas manejan los problemas de formas que desafían los valores propios!

Esta es una de esas obras de David E. Kelley a las que les falta valor de entretenimiento, como 'Los practicantes' y demás. No es muy 'atractiva' y es desafiante hacer una serie así en este tiempo y época, por lo que merece cinco estrellas. Es muy real, brutalmente, pero es imposible que un tema así sobreviva.

A série é muito boa. Não insere aleatoriamente as relações da vida privada de vários personagens apenas para preencher o tempo. Além da dissecação da vida profissional dos médicos, também mostra o lado caloroso e alguns princípios profissionais "desumanos". Até certo ponto, permite ao público compreender melhor as características da profissão médica de uma forma mais dramática.
